Another order

Caved and placed another order at Collage Video. They keep adding DVDs to their going out of business sale, and I mistakenly keep checking it. I ordered Rockin Models since it looks fun & different and has been on my wishlist ever since it came out.

Goodies Are Here!

I've been reading on the Video Fitness forums that many of the 7,000+ who ordered from Collage's going out of business sale have had their entire orders cancelled due to things selling out. I nervously waited to get a shipping notice, refund on the credit card, or to hear something. I emailed Collage to find out my status, just couldn't stand the suspense, and was told two of my items sold out before they shipped my order. I was not getting Cardio for Beginners or Walking for Weight Loss Wellness and Energy. With the refund (and a 10% off coupon & some rewards points) I ordered Walking for Weight Loss from Mary @ Total Fitness DVDs and received that yesterday (love her fast shipping!). The other workout I don't care about since it seems it would be too simple for me. I threw it in my cart just because it was cheap.

I was still concerned about receiving a correct and working order. However today it arrived in wonderful condition and I am a happy camper! Can't wait to do these!

***Collage has since fulfilled orders and found a few one offs that they've added to their website for sale. They were down to 11 DVDs and now they are up to 45, so if you want anything I'd grab it fast!

A Sad Day

Oh no, how very sad, I just read that Collage Video is going out of business!

I have been a long time customer, I bought my first fitness VHS & DVD (Urban Tai Chi & Winsor Pilates) from them. They are the reason why I grew my collection and fell in love with home fitness. I found amazing instructors on their website and in their informative catalogs. The 2nd DVD I purchased from them was Christi Taylor's Totally Hot Cardio. I remember trying it out and thinking WTF is she doing?! She is why I love complex choreography so much, thanks to Collage's video preview.

Everything on their website is 30-70% off. I just placed my final order, consisting of:

A few things sold out and disappeared from my cart before I could place my order, so if you want something, I would act fast!

So sad to see them go. Thank you Collage Video for many years of catalogs, DVDs, great customer service, and fast shipping! You will be missed.

How it all began

When I was in my teens I began exercising to PBS' Hooked On Aerobics. I saw an infomercial for the original Taebo set and ordered. I saw another informercial for Winsor Pilates, looked it up online and bought it from a company on Ebay called Collage Video. With my order they included a catalog filled with more fitness DVDs and I found previews I could watch online. So shortly after, I ordered from them Christi Taylor's Totally Hot Cardio
- and there began the addiction and I became a Vidiot (what VFers [members of Video Fitness] call those addicted to fitness videos)! Who knew exercise could be FUN, have excellent top 40 music, and dancey steps that seemed like a workout for both your mind and body. I stumbled upon VF via Shape magazine - there was a short article about a website dedicated to home workouts and you could trade your unwanted ones for others. So in early 2003 I joined Video Fitness and have grown a ridiculously large collection of home workouts and equipment. To this day Christi Taylor is still one of my all time favorite instructors and I have a deep love for complex choreography. So that's my story of how I became a Vidiot.
